Nalam was started with the objective of helping the society to identify health risks at early stage and prove the power of the well accepted notation "Prevention is better than cure" . It was started by young and energetic volunteers whose families were affected by serious chronic illnesses that were diagnosed only at the later part of their lives.

Having their expertise in IT and community well-being, these volunteers had a spark of combining powerful technology platform with quality healthcare professionals to deliver meaningful, preventive healthcare screenings for the society.

As per WHO,millions of children and adult die without even knowing that they are victims to serious diseases. This is mainly because people visit doctors, only when they are under pain or in need. Most Importantly, people are too tired leading their busy lifestyle, that they neither undergo preventive health screenings nor they take their children for health screenings.

Keeping all these practical difficulties in mind, we have designed a technology platform under the guidance of reputed health care professionals that can screen the basic morbidities in children and adults at their schools and workplaces respectively.
